Thanks for the Merck quote. It is good too see some mention of a ten year old technology. According to Vical, Merck plays their cards very close to the vest. They will not be pounding the table re: this so called 'naked dna' vaccine until they are sure & have a major lead over the competition. Just think about how much news there has been re: Merck's Phase I using naked dna vaccine against influenza. However, after that trial they have licensed more from Vical & are starting the Phase I re: Aids soon (we hope). Bill
