JMHO, but I think shorting is another way to generate cash flow
for your trading business, and posting that you are short a stock
when some people are long is not any different that posting you
are long a stock when some people may be short.

Neither event should cause any problems, just different view points on where a stock maybe headed short term.

just my two cents worth.
