It is good to ask questions. Keep your chin up. EDIG is a good long, imo.

Dear dim witted woman, ;) (yeah right)

Don't let them get you down. Stockholders are religious zealots. Often they have a ton of money on the line. Be as suspicious of them (being long) as they are of you (being short). Ask as many questions as you please, and don't let anyone shake your resolve. If you don't get satisfactory answers... ask again. Remember that when people attack you personally (as opposed to your logic) you have put them on the defensive for some reason. This always gives me a clue to someones motivation, or perhaps holes in my thinking. I guess its both sometimes too.

Or did you already know all that... ;)

Hang in there ArtS Mom! We all have to start somewhere.
SI & this thread are very good!
This is really the best place to get questions answered.
Email: wendy@edig.com
Ask her all the questions you have. You will get answers.
Be sure to send your address & you will also get (by return snail mail) a complete set of information.

A friend asked me to look at this stock when it was in the low $.20's.
At first, when looking at the Yahoo profile, I thought it was a dog.
After I read some of the Press Releases (PR's), finding out that they were working with Lucent, IBM, Texas Instr., Intel, & others, I started to think very much differently!
The chart was showing real action! The long base had been formed & was starting to break-out ON HEAVY VOLUME (a very good sign).
My friend had bought it at $.13 when it was Norris Comm.
He was happy to hear me say "This is a Winner!".
I bought some the very next day @.22

If those BIG guys see something in this company, they can't be all that bad... That is the ONE thing that turned my decision to it being a "winner".

It then exploded (look at the chart)... Pullbacks are normal...
When ready, I really think this stock will explode again going into the 4-10++ range real soon (1-2 mo's or sooner).

IMO=In my opinion. IMHO=in my humble opinion.
(I though they were some stock symbols at first)

So hang in there... Ask all the questions you want...
That's why we are here (I think)... To help one another!

I hope this helps.

Please accept my apology for my seemingly harsh initial response earlier.

ArtS,

If you are who you claim to be, I also apologize for my previous post. However, having paid to get into a board that has some degree of sanity, I will continue to watch all new posters with a certain degree of suspicion. SI is not immune to P&D, spam, and all the other garbage floating about in the cyber-investing world.

Anyhow, welcome aboard, and hopefully the DD at the RB link previously posted will have answered some of your questions. If you want in-depth info on the management team of EDIG and its sister companies, their respective websites have very good bios of all the principals posted. The one at ATCO atcsd.com is very nicely done.

ArtS - Regardless of what people say on these boards, it's ALWAYS best to do your own research. People DO make mistakes sometimes about things they write about here. EDIG isn't the easiest company to understand as their technology has evolved over the past several years and has changed direction. Also, the company changed its name in January. It used to be Norris Communications.

ALL small "start-up" companies hold a much greater degree of risk than older, established companies, and they require much more "babysitting" (you have to really watch them every day). It you don't have the time or desire to do this, then stick with companies like IBM, Intel, etc. -- and bear in mind that they can go down, too. However, when they do drop, they usually recover later. Small companies might NEVER recover - and they might even go out of business. The risks are great -- the rewards can be VERY great -- IF EVERYTHING WORKS OUT RIGHT.

Betty

ArtS, if someone hasn't already suggested it, it would be advisable to enlist the aid of a reputable financial advisor. You don't have to follow the advice, but it might give you some good guidelines.
Just a thought.
