T said it's not going to use IP at first on cable, it's going to go with good old circuit-switched. To ans. your ?? T is a giant, IDTC is a knat. IDTC and others like them are using the RBOCs lines, T is going to bypass the RBOCs and become MA bell again, only in a better way, with broadband over the fattest pipe to the general public. Off topic a little, it is to bad T is staying with TDMA for it's cell operation and not going CDMA, then T would really be in the cat bird seat, concerning next generation communication service, A true one stop broadband consumer company bare none. T will see the light when G3 get rolling though. Check out QCOM for more information. Greg
