Yes I was in fore for 1400 shares at a cost basis of 22 1/4. I had traded fore many times over the last several years and scored big with fore last spring as well. bought at 16 and change and rode it to the high twenties and sold and then lost most of it on a bad option play, such is life. Took my profits in fore this time and bought coms.

You may be right about coms and its future, but experience has taught me that nothing in the market is a sure thing. If the market tanks 2-3 thousand points in a correction, you might be able to buy coms for 19-20 since it was recently just off that level. What I suppose I am really trying to say without giving offense is dont fall in love with a stock, if you do the results can sometimes be painful. Additionally, I do not want to be stoned as a heretic, but I am by no means convinced that 3com is going to be bought, at least anytime soon. I bought coms as a value play in the sector and will bail if it starts to get real ugly. I paid 26 13/16 and will take my lumps if we break 25. Of course, I hope it is onward and upward from here. Good luck to us all.

P.S. I personally like pair as a slightly better near term (next 3months) buyout target.
