Gee whiz... ASTN didn't sell off.

It may sell off a little soon. It has had quite a run over the last few weeks. I would suggest that you take a harder look at the stock and what is moving it. ASTN is not in a death spiral, but the terms of its rescue a while back do look ugly. ASTN has cash to keep it going and can generate more without dilution.

The future is full of promise. These are known: VWAP, GOMEZ Advisors, UTTS, Clients and VOLUME, more modules.

These are speculative: NYSE, Canada, ASIA, Financial Institutions, GOMEZ IPO.

Your short basis look backward, the long basis looks forward. As for all of the 144's; they are simply that. They may not even be employees of the company. By the end of the year, ASTN could have revenues of 6-8MM/mo from VWAP with approx 15MM share outstanding after all of the conversion. Pick a P/E or R/E and determine the fair price. The system works and the clients are there. SEC has approved. Optimark pales in comparison and does o.k.. These are the INSTINET Founders.

That is why longs are holding. It will be volatile, but the trend is up. You guys will only speed the appreciation if good news keeps coming. If bad news comes, we'll get out too. But in reality, I doubt anyone here has much influence. I bet the MM's had the best of the shorts today.

Good Luck.
