UG,

I like to use stochrsi for entry and exits. Stochrsi will not help you indentify trend. Once you know the trend you can use Stochrsi you help you catch peices of a bigger move. there are many variations. I still prefer plain old (14). Some like to add MA's onto the StochRSI. This indicator is disucssed throguhly on TA beginners, Indicators and Systems and Andy's web site.... Another neat variation of this is StochCCI.

HI UG,

Go to Quote com's live charts applet.
Put Stoch up as your indicator.
Set it for 13,8 and look at how the trend/cross follows moves.
