From what I see, we have a very different market than we have been used to. Cyclicals have been doing very well but the stocks that we are "used" to seeing outperform, have not.

Sector rotation is very important here. I published the sector bell curve last week and from that one can see which sectors were oversold and which were overbought. As always, the greater opportunities lie in those sectors below 50%.

There has been much volatility however. Just today we have started to see breakdowns in major stocks and certainly the internets are part of that conclusion. The internet sector itself moves much like an internet stock, very volatile with wild swings. One week isn't enough time on the sector chart to keep up to date with its standing.
