Wayne, You raise some good points that I was intentionally not addressing in my prior post. I thought the issue was shift risk from employer to employee, through defined contribution plans due to asset bubble. My point was that it didn't start with the asset bubble. But the asset bubble sure makes it a lot easier to finish shifting all risk in a wholesale manner. Greed on the employee's part is making this as easy as taking candy from a baby. Hell, some companies are now proposing to replace "standard" retirement plans with a form of stock option plan. -g- Lord help the employees if the market direction ever changes, much less the company's prospects. -ng-
