From what I can tell, it looks like they are trying to get this test to be included with all pap smears to eliminate return visits to the doctor for further testing and to eliminate the agony that these women that have to be retested feel while they are waiting. The insurance companies should have no problem with this when you consider the overall cost of the return visits and further testing needed by some of these women. I think they are counting the beans right now. Love to hear further opinions.
