Most people don't know it, but a quit claim (nonwarranty) deed transfers all your interest in A to another person. There is NO guarantee that you HAVE ANY interest in A. In fact, we sometimes use quitclaim deeds where we are quite sure a person doesn't have any interest but want to use a belt and suspenders, so we have them quitclaim any interest they may have. So if a court some day says "oh yes, they did have this interest nobody knew about" it has been transferred. All perfectly legal.

A quitclaim deed means absolutely nothing unless the person signing it has some interest in the property. The fraud part comes in when you claim you have an interest you don't. But if I don't claim I have an interest, but just promise to deed all my interest to you without asserting that that interest has any substance or value, no fraud.
