Monish, On futures, you have to deal with a futures broker. The Chicago Board of Trade web site has some educational materials, but palladium trades on the New York Merc which doesn't have much. The smallest contract right now is a bit over $30,000, though you can use margin and buy a contract for less than $3000. I do not recommend commodity trading until you get grounded in the high risks and rewards of futures, in general. I recommend starting with a bond or options future, or, better, a futures option, and learning on that.
