Have you forgotten that evil twin of mine who has tried, fortunately with no success, to sully my reputation by besporting herself lewdly at the festival e'en while I cleaned and swept the day away, difficult as the latter job was, so cluttered were the lawns with recumbent revelers? It was she who hurt you so, not moi.

P.S. Perhaps we should continue this discussion, if it is to be continued, on the Beltain Fairgrounds, and spare these feeling folk.
