Having just said my piece about edig on RB I hope you keep Trippi-ng about wherever and whenever you choose. cm -- I'll go out on a limb and say I'll still expect to be suprised by a few IBM projects until Peter removes IBM as a logo on the partner's page. Lest we forget, the may have blown it with Bill, but they've sold a lot of PCs with what they purchased from him. In fact, they could join this board -- dull, slow-witted, but still around and getting wealthier (almost) every day!! Weby

Well, Trippi, Lemme Kick Off The Duhhh-Fest With The Following... Found a little tiny link that dates back from 11/98 that is, well, interesting. If you scroll down, you will note a post from a Wave Systems field sales person re: one of the applications of EMBASSY that I, of all people, should be most interested in: metering how folks interact with Web ads, etc. (In some ways, this raises privacy issues... that's the nice-guy part of me talking. Now, as a Web advertiser, or somebody knows a few, man, this is the holy grail... microtargetable, mass-customizable offers... with highly measurable interactions.)
