NEW YORK, May 4 (Reuters) - Shares of Priceline.com Inc.
PCLN.O fell in Tuesday's after-hours session after the
company reported a first-quarter operating loss of $17.6
million.
The company was launched in April of 1998. In the fourth
quarter of 1998, the company had an operating loss of $73.9
million. The online commerce service said revenue in the latest
quarter was $49.4 million, up from $19.0 million in the fourth
quarter of 1998.
Priceline.com traded at 128 on the Instinet electronic
broker system, down 6 from the regular close.
