I spoke with the PR firm today. I was a bit confused when I called on what was actually taking place with this company.

So if I can get all the information straight in my head, I will do my best to post some of the information I was told.

First...
The cutoff date for shareholder of record 7 MAY. In other words COB Friday is the day of whether you own the new company or not. The amount is still 1 for 10 as stated in the release. The new company will be privately held for a period of time, pending SEC filings and applications even though we will own shares.

Next...
The assay results were incomplete. There are more results coming. When they have the information, they do intend to release it. 2 holes were only reported to 80m. They actually went a bit deeper to about 275m. There are not plans right now to drill anymore new holes.

My Confusion...
I thought that the 2 properties were being transferred into Medinah Gold, the new company, and we were getting shares of this. NOPE !!!

We are to receive shares into the new company that is to contain the other assets existing in Medinah Energy.
Medinah Energy (MDIN) will hold the current 2 finds.

MDIN
The plan now, for this part of MDIN, is to sell the company (Medinah Energy) holding the 2 finds. In essence it will be kinda auctioned off to the highest bidder. The 2 finds encompass about 19.2 square miles. They are located near a city he said (I think 20k away), has water, labor near by, and other valuable resources for a mining company to come in and take it. These resources are attractive in that, one does not have to set up a camp, and ship people and resources to the sites to have a productive mine. In simpler terms cheaper costs for a potential buyer.

BUYERS
I asked if there were any offers on the table at this time. Nope...

STOCK SHORTS
This is definitely a concern of the company. The primary concern is to make sure that the current holders are not cheated by the MMs. They are also concerned about the short in the fact that it does effect the price of the stock of MDIN, and could effect the holdings and value of the new spin-off company.

SCAM
IMHO, I do not think that this is a scam at all... This actually looks like a viable long term play. They do have a plan, a solid one in my mind. Find, Research, Sell... Works for me.

ASSAY
They do not do their own tests, if I understood the answer to my question correctly. They do take their ore to a mill to have it done. It is not done in house like some other firms I have been involved with. I did not however ask the name of the company that is doing the testing. ( I am NOT planning to call S. America anytime soon :o) )...

CONCLUSION
They have found Gold, Copper, and Silver. The amounts being shown from the assay are VERY POSITIVE. They do not believe that they have found the mother load spot YET. Probably will not be them finding it anyway, since there are no more plans to assay this property by MDIN. There are more test results coming. We have a spin off coming 7 MAY. The company is for sale with a very attractive mining site. Position is long term for the sale, and wait for the next find from Medinah Gold.

Kurt,

Realistically, I would love to see $5.

BUt really, depends on the volume, the chart, the trades. I know I cant time the top very easily but would like to take some profits. With the number of shares I own, I will eventually be selling off in several trades anyways. Just cant tell you WHEN! I dont know!
