Hi Skipperr, I get my % of mutual fund cash holdings from Investors Business Daily and the sentiment from Chartcraft. Thanks for the great link and clueing me into the Dent thread. They go hand in hand. As described in Dent's book, the US demographics call for large cash flows into the market up until about 2008. Long term the market is up.
My short term concern is that mutual fund managers have such a low percentage of cash in their funds right now. I use this as a current sentiment indicator. FWIW, The DJBB should drop another box tonight.
The DJBB dropping is a fairly reliable for predicting what the Fed's next move will be. The last time the Fed raised rates, in the spring of 1987, the DJBB was in a column of O's that dropped below the previous column of O's i.e. a P&F sell signal.

Oh well, we shall see. Maybe tomorrow's sentiment numbers will show a drop in the % of advisors bearish. Maybe not. Thanks again for the Dent link. Dick
