I was wondering if anyone had any opinion of this Hard Drive I am considering buying: IBM DeskStar 10.1 Gig DTTA IDE 7,000 RPM 371010 I would really appreciate your comments!! Here is the ULTIMATE TRADING system I am planning to build this weekend, and I hope some of you guys have comments: the goal here is to HAVE THE BEST SYSTEM I CAN GET!!! 500mhz PIII Intel Chip or Should I REALLy Spring for the XEON 500 or 550mhz Cache is there a way to have more than 512k Cache on Standard 440 BX Chipset with a P 3 500 mhz or do I have to spring for the XEON??? ASUS Board ???? or should I go with ABIT?? (Which had more PCI, or ISA Slots (what slots are more Impt?) Can anyone reccomend a very COOl heatsink and Fan for this application and for the hard Drive?? Is there a way to Windows 98 (Or is NT that much more reliable and flexible? (I paln on having multiple monitors in the near future) (Will it be easy to upgrade to NT 5.0, can you do upgrade to NT 5.0 from Win 98, does NT have the same user interfaces that 95 and 98 have or does it resemble 3.1? 512mb PC-100 EDO Ram SRAM(is SRAM the best RAM these days)(i understand Samsung Makes the best PC-100 RAM??) (Should I do it in 256 Sims)?? Any suggestions for a killer 3d Video Card that can operate on it's own and encorporate 2d with 1 Card? (or is it better to go with 2 cards??? I am lost on this?? Well I would really appreciate any help the thread can offer me as I am not a Tech head, but am looking for the fastes trading machine I can get so I never can blame my computer!!!
