would be interesting (as one person mused) as to how this might effect the shorts? A trading halt is the saving grace of the shorts who are running out of time or for what ever reason feel pressured to "cover" As long as a stock is halted, they are in limbo. The longer the wait the better. Who do you think turned the SEC onto the Company anyway?? This wasn't a result of the merger review, IMHO. J.M. was on top of that and was in constant contact with the SEC about it. No, IMO, the SEC was "alerted" to alleged "issues" just the same as the Company has been the brunt of newly filed lawsuits. What?? ...do people think we get served with crazy a$$ed lawsuits one week, and the next week the SEC suspends trading (to the direct benefit to those who brought the lawsuit) and all this was just... a COINCIDENCE?
