AimRite Holdings Corporation Approves Project with General Motors

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 5, 1999--AimRite Holdings
Corporation (Nasdaq/BB:AIMH) is pleased to announce that it has
approved a project proposed by a division of General Motors (NYSE:GM).
Lonnie Woods, Executive Director of COAST Operations stated, "We are
very pleased to have the opportunity to work with GM on this exciting
project. Further details will be released in the near future."
AimRite also disclosed that additional funding has been received
to build and premier COAST suspension control systems for targeted
major automobile manufacturers to evaluate. Further, AimRite has
received a formal request from a major OEM manufacturer of heavy duty
trucks. The request is to apply COAST to a vehicle for evaluation and
production planning. According to Jim Hamilton, Director of
Engineering, "Computer simulations for this customer's heavy duty
truck application have verified that COAST can provide substantial
performance, comfort and safety improvements for their vehicles."
