Dennis,

if your using 4.51 you don't need a Java VM patch. people who are using earler versions can update the java component and not others if they choose. Both Microsoft and Netscape frequently update their Java Virtual Machines. Many people are still running 4.02, 4.03, etc which have some nasty java bugs. unfortunately despite the technical advantages and marketing claims of java its not as robust and stable as it could be.
