Further news on more HP dealings into the storage power area as HP is acquiring Transoft Networks, which makes software for higher-end storage area networks.

Question? What impact will this have on EMC?

Hmm--Both stockholders and HP are divesting themselves of EMC, and yet the people on this thread think those folks are short sighted. Interesting. Hmm. At some point EMC will be fairly priced, but I imagine that HP looked into the technical aspects pretty closely, with a lot of technical expertise, before going with Hitachi. It also is interesting that HP stock is going up while EMC is going down. Those stupid shareholders again. Hmm.
