As far as I am concerned the CPAs did a great job UNTIL PROVEN
OTHERWISE. But IF the SEC succeeds in showing that our CPAs clean bill of health was not so clean after all, THEN that's a whole different story.


I tend to agree with you. The CPA firm probably did their job pretty well, but I don't think the SEC will go check out the CPA firm. They generally concentrate on the company itself, though in some cases they do go after the CPA firm. I don't think I've ever heard of a fine from the SEC against a CPA firm, even though there have been plenty of lawsuits against Big 5 firms. Our audit firm may never get a look from the SEC.

I'm sure there were some conversations about the acquisition accounting. Someone at DCTC (the controller?) knows exactly what happened. It might be worth one of our times to give him/her a call...
