Long term, the prospects are good. However, George, I would caution you to not necessarily expect the same returns that many of us have had in DELL in the past. A company like this can only be worth so much (in terms of market cap), and I believe it remains richly valued, IMHO.

If you just bought, though, I think you're in at a fairly stable price for the short term. I'm personally not too concerned about downside risk in the short term (barring any unexpected news).

Regards and Good Investing,

LoD

George

The DELL price for the long term always seems good as DELL has rewarded its investors year after year with stellar gains, far outpacing the S&P. Thus, over the LONG TERM there has really never been a bad time to get in DELL since every investor who holds on will see gains in their shares.

Over the short term, DELL's stock is showing signs of stagnation which should clear up on May 18 when earnings are released. Most investors are fearful to commit new money to DELL until they see the direction following earnings.

Just my opinion.
