we have NO foreign currency reserves to speak of in order to prop it up (huge trade imbalances tend to do that to ya -g-).. other countries must do it for us and by doing so, in essence, buy our commodities for us... i find it unlikely they will step in front of the cming train.... the mkt always wins in the end... PPT can only delay the ineviatble and make it MUCH worse when it finally hits...

For those of you who care, the precious metals bullish percent (no. of stocks with a P&F buy signal in that sector) has gone bull confirmed (last occurrance 4/98). XAU resistance ...85/87ish.

Offense on the field and ready to kick some a$$.
