VCI

Jan, VCI is making some nice moves. For those not familiar with this Co.:

It is very likely that this Co. put the coupons in your Sunday newspaper. VCI has been making some good decisions and they have some interesting developments planned.

VCI took advantage of the lower cost of paper, improving their bottom line and using the cash to buy back their own stock. They are also improving their debt load and have recently obtained new financing with better terms. Earnings for 1q of 99 came in 36% better than the comparable quarter last year and just slightly higher than consensus estimates.

And of course, the Co. also has an internet plans. They own 50% of a private company planning to offer coupons on the internet at many major web sites prior to the end of the year.
