Gosh, take a few days off on my boat and all hell breaks lose!

Don't know much about this new pension plan, but I talked to an IBM VP today and even she could not tell me what the net result would be for any individual IBMer. Sounds as if there is a whole lot of unfounded rumors going on out there. I have absolutely no insight, just have to believe that all will be taken care of. IMHO.

IBM's second Qtr looking very good, starting to feel better about 3rd and 4th. Don't know what the rest of IBM is doing, but in the West, I am a little bit more concerned about Y2K services drop off then I was a few months ago. Comments?

Off Thread: The Street's reaction to the HWP/EMC announcement today was BS, EMC off 11 points at one time. I bought EMC at 96, predict it will recover loss before end of week, reach new high before end of year. Good for IBM, good for EMC, good for Jim. Enjoy.
