Maybe I'll gain some insight at the Stockholders Meeting at the end of the month! Dave, don't hold your breath or make a special trip if you expect to gain additional insight. I attended the Annual Meeting in 1996, at the height of the KM speculation, hoping for the same and came away with nothing new. Ampex discloses nothing and particuallarly so at the Annual Meeting where if done could be construed as providing information to a privelegded few. The 1996 meeting lasted about 40 minutes total! I expect that the 1999 annual meeting will pretty much be a non-news event too. Now if you're going to San Fran to mix a little business with a lot of pleasure then more power to ya. Its a great place: the city, Saulsalito, Napa, heck even Monterey to the South. If you're into Chinese food, may I suggest the House of Nan King in Chinatown (I believe on Grant Street). Its a little hole in the wall (literally), but the food is to die for and not expensive. A very popular spot with locals; they line up at the door each night. I was recommended and did lunch there. Awesome! Everyone who I've recommended it to has loved it as well. Give it a shot. Sal
