Paul, I said that, "K6-III has ...a higher floating point performance compare to PIII."

I was under the WRONG impression that better performance in business/office application is due to better floating point performance.

I stand corrected.

My original statement was arguing that K6III has a higher performance compare to K62. I stand by that. I should have said,

"I have seen at least 4 independent bench-marking, all concluding that K6-III has much higher performance compare to the K6-2 and also a higher performance compare to PIII in business/office applications."
