Keith..

I've been meaning to ask .. don't you ~ever~ relax? :-)

Just kidding..

Today, I started the ball rolling into opening another trading account, just so I can transfer via phone overnite "in-kind" stocks from one account to another, just so I can start segregating my long-term buys with the {couple of}day{s}trade stocks..

I don't have that many fingers and toes to count the number of times I've said "I'm saving this for the long-term". Then I go ahead and trade the stock just for some daytrades .. hoping I will have turned the cash account into buying the same stock back (and of course at a lessor price!)

My best aka worst being c.biv, t.dio, c.sbx, c.heg, and many more that maybe it was for the best looking at today's prices .. although, I sold out waaaay too early.

My question to the daytraders... Do you also keep separate distinct accounts for short & long-term buys?

PS: Speaking of TA.. did anybody see Nina HARTley while she was in town today??

Okay! Bad joke poor taste .. sorry
