Steve: I guess anything is possible but it seems to me amd has way to much to do. Any cash they may have i am sure needs to be used to bring the k-7 to market. In addition the amd shareholders are ready to eliminate sanders from what i understand......in fact they have told him to get the share price up or get out. Now if he were to buy either cyrix or nsm, i suspect amd's share price would be under $10 by closing bell tomorrow. INTC would have trouble taking on nsm let alone amd. Having said all that, i suppose anything is possible......we will know soon enough (7+ hrs) or at least the east coast will. ted
