Stuart, no offense meant or taken. As I did write in my post, I'm not generally a person with paranoia. (I would not hand over my "Platinum Visa" in a restaurant after having signed a slip, but I regularly buy stuff over the Inet paying with my plastic.)

My issue was that the only reference I could find to proxyvote.com was the (your?) post here.

The fact that you got an email confirmation doesn't mean anything other than those who set up the site decided to send an email reply back.

I went to E-turd to have a look for proxyvote.com, but couldn't find any references there. Where did you find it (url) ?

I voted that way for AMAT. Directions came with the ballot, was handled easily, received confirmation immediately, and, like you, had tosupply only an ID number. So easy. Otherwise, I usually pitch this stuff.
