Peter Munk has never been a gold bug - always quite sanguine about gold in fact - you may be right about his (and T-H) moving on from Barrick however - interesting, though, that he appointed an accountant as CEO - but this may reflect the fact that Barrick is to a large extent a finance house now. When Barrick took over Camflo all those years ago they picked up valuable mining expertise and a good blueprint for labour relations, but Munk brought with him some brilliant financial guys who designed their hedge program which made so much possible - and this reflected his view of gold as per my opening sentence. d

No, I missed the interview. Have noticed a number of posts here and there critical of him for saying one thing and apparently doing the opposite. Wouldn't be surprised to see him move on.
