<<Fed doesn't have to for the stock market to crash. The bond market is raising long term rates and the market is reacting to a 6% 30year bond which says inflation may be coming soon. Look at the price of gold and silver rising slowly. Inflation or inflation fear whatever is taking all high flying high PE's down a bit. Right now cash is king and even MD knows it!>>

Just bonds turn.. yeilds will drop...every one gets a turn ...this is keeping the economy strong!

Mrs Dell probably just needed a new front door <G> sorry Venkie

TTOSBT: I agree with FRANK E W...Mrs Dell just needed (maybe more than) a front door! the 30 year bond is TRADED BY DAY TRADERS AND IT SWINGS VOLATILY...IN BOTH DIRECTIONS...don't be fooled by this...the other bond yields are not at 9 month highs because they are not as reactionary/speculative...there is little or no inflation...just FEAR...ignore it, IMO, and you can get some good bargains (like dell, cisco, wcom) and make some big $$$. cheers, GR

p.s. the 30 yr bond yield is already down a bit this a.m.

p.p.s. frank tells me the door is "solid gold" so cut MD some slack! :)
