Don't think HWP and EMC will be in the same room at N+I.... HP says .............. biz.yahoo.com , at a press conference in New York, Hewlett-Packard officials said the company had soured on EMC's ''aging architecture,'' which did not provide the features desired by its customers. ''To reach our goals (of 100 percent data availability), we needed a high-end product with no single points of failure. We believe the EMC (product)... will not meet that criteria,'' a company spokeswoman told the press conference. Good luck to Hitachi and HDS elite partners.
