Don, There are also many reasons to believe that Bible should not be taken literally. We have been over this issue many times on this thread. to be honest, I don't have much desire to go back and discuss this issue once again. It makes somewhat uncomfortable to have to re-iterate why I disagree with the religious beliefs of many of the fine people on this thread. suffice it to ay, that I have spent time on the bible(mostly the OT and mostly in my youth). My wife comes from a Lutheran family, and I have many Christian friends. for me, organized religion is too limiting and very antiquated. I would not be so presumptuous as to decide weather it is right for you. Only you can make that decision, and I hope whatever decision you make, brings you much happiness and serenity. Mark
