Don,

There are also many reasons to believe that Bible should not be taken literally. We have been over this issue many times on this thread. to be honest, I don't have much desire to go back and discuss this issue once again. It makes somewhat uncomfortable to have to re-iterate why I disagree with the religious beliefs of many of the fine people on this thread.

suffice it to ay, that I have spent time on the bible(mostly the OT and mostly in my youth). My wife comes from a Lutheran family, and I have many Christian friends. for me, organized religion is too limiting and very antiquated. I would not be so presumptuous as to decide weather it is right for you. Only you can make that decision, and I hope whatever decision you make, brings you much happiness and serenity.

Mark

Don you want others to read your "proof" of inspired word. Are you willing to follow someone's proof that it was plagiarized by the Romans from ancient myths? Or will you go gack to the circular proof that only the bible can be used?
