18 wheeler in previous life
just a handle for this former college rioter in the '70s

in grad school, played intense tennis for release and fun... strange but gifted regular opponent friend... occasionally a great shot of mine down the line or rushing net would induce a scream "Jim Willie Corned Beef!!!" ... it stuck, silly really

Ericsson sees one bln mobile phone users by 2004

STOCKHOLM, May 5 (Reuters) - Swedish telecoms group Ericsson's chief executive Sven-Christer Nilsson expects the number of mobile phone subscribers to reach one billion globally before 2004, Nilsson said on Wednesday.

Nilsson had said earlier he expected the number of subscribers to reach one billion in 2004.

''The most recent indications are that the number of mobile phone subscribers is going to reach one billion before 2004,'' Nilsson told analysts at a lunch meeting.

Nilsson declined to give a more exact date, nor would he say what was behind the faster growth rate.

''We are constantly doing very careful analyses. This is the development they show,'' Nilsson said, declining to comment more.
