Briand, you may be missing a point here. EDIG's patented file management system is applicable to many different encoding schemes; it would be nice if our partners' EPAC scheme wins out, but the success of EDIG will probably get a bigger boost from the rapidly expanding applications of FLASH memory cards in many hand-held devices, not just music players.

I doubt that there is any engineer in the music business on this planet that would be interested in a format that takes "...hours to encode a 5-minute song..." And certainly not the record company paying for the studio time.

No way.
