(PR NEWSWIRE) World Wide Wireless Communications Inc. Announces Personnel
World Wide Wireless Communications Inc. Announces Personnel Additions to
Facilitate Build-Out of its Wireless Internet System

SAN FRANCISCO, May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- World Wide Wireless Communications,
Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: WLGS) announced today that the Company has hired a
new Vice President/Chief Operating Officer and a new Vice President/Director
of Licensing and System Expansion.
For the position of Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, the
Company announced the hiring of C.R. "Bud" Jenkins. Mr. Jenkins comes to the
Company with more than ten years experience in multi-plant management in the
aerospace, automotive, and telecommunications industry. He has special
expertise in start-up and turnaround situations and in building increased
profits through revenue enhancements and cost savings. In the past several
years, Mr. Jenkins had served as President of IMC Magnetics Corporation,
Tempe, Arizona, a division of Minebea Ltd., Tokyo, Japan. At IMC, Mr. Jenkins
took control of a struggling operation and turned an unprofitable division
around in only a year. Prior to IMC, Mr. Jenkins had worked with Rexham
Packaging Division, Orange, Connecticut as General Manager and before that he
had served as Director of Manufacturing and Operations with the Cables
Division of L.M. Ericsson, Inc., in Overland Park, Kansas.
"I am very pleased that an individual with Bud's expertise, track record,
and temperament has joined the Company", noted Douglas Haffer, the Company's
President and CEO. "From our first meeting, it was obvious to me that Bud
possessed the necessary vision, energy, and commitment-to-excellence to take
on the critical role of Chief Operating Officer," Haffer added. "Everything
in his history has convinced us that he will succeed admirably in overseeing
the aggressive schedule the Company intends to follow in building-out its
wireless internet system."
In addition to Mr. Jenkins, the Company also has hired Dana Miller as its
full time Vice President and Director of Licensing and Systems Expansion. Mr.
Miller has been engaged as an independent contractor with the Company and its
predecessor for many years and has played a vital role in the acquisition and
maintenance of the Company's current wireless-Internet-license system. Well-
known and respected within the broadband wireless industry and with years of
experience in both the technical and operational side of the industry, Mr.
Miller will play a crucial role in the Company's build-out and expansion
program.
"Being able to employ the services of Dana on a full-time basis will
greatly facilitate the ambitious build-out and acquisition schedule," Haffer
noted. "To secure the exclusive services of someone like Dana, who has been a
part of the wireless broadband industry nearly from its inception, is a major
coup for the Company," Haffer added.
With personnel now in place, the Company is on target for its previously
announced program to construct and commence operations at a new location every
three months. Buoyed by the recent attention being given to the broadband
wireless Internet sector and the entry of new players into the industry, World
Wide Wireless Communications is now positioned to implement its plan to play a
major role in the development of high-speed wireless Internet operations
nationally and internationally.
