06-May-99 11:24:47 Shares of Seagate have bounced between the low $30's and upper $20's since early March. The stock's recent two day string of plus-$30 closes brought about a small wave of consolidation. Seagate is trading just below the $30 mark at $29 13/16 with a loss of $3/16. Seagate's I-Watch chart shows a solid amount of activity on the buy side in the pre-trade market which suggest the stock has support to help guard against any major moves lower. Similarly the reported trade data is slightly biased toward bidders, with 337,000 shares reported as buy trades, 265,000 shares booked as sell trades, and 150,000 shares reported as crossed.
