ETPI'S Nitelife and PS&L Renew Military Entertainment Contracts

Entertainment And Equipment Subsidiaries Mark Another Successful Year

HOUSTON, May 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Entertainment Technologies & Programs, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ETPI) reports that its wholly owned subsidiaries, NiteLife Entertainment, Inc. and Performance Sound & Light, Inc. (PS&L), have renewed their AFNAF licenses for the sixth and fifth year, respectively.

The military's AFNAF Purchasing Office San Antonio, Texas, awarded these contracts based on the consistent, high-quality service provided by these ETP units.

An AFNAF (Air Force Non-Appropriated Fund) contract gives these ETP units the unique ability to provide audio/video equipment, installation, and management services to any branch of the military without having to go through the normal bidding process.

NiteLife Entertainment installs and operates entertainment systems in nightclub facilities at more than 100 Army, Navy, Marine and Air Force facilities throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. These nightclubs provide off-duty servicemen and women with recreational benefits that may not be available off base, particularly at foreign locations.

NiteLife installs a complete disc jockey booth with all of the attendant audio and video equipment. This includes industrial videotape players, turntables, mixing consoles and television monitors, as well as a continuous supply of audio and video music tapes -- including state-of-the-art DVD technology. In addition, NiteLife hires, trains and supervises disc jockeys and entertainers around the world through an approved independent contractor structure.

Performance Sound & Light (PS&L) provides professional sound, light and video equipment for both military and civilian locations, boasting one of the most largely recognized professional catalogs. PS&L enjoys the benefits of having its own AFNAF number for military purchases without the need to go through a competitive bidding process.

PS&L recently introduced to its military buyers an interactive catalog on CD that contains specifications and images that help make the ordering process easier.

"As demonstrated by these renewed AFNAF contracts and a new contractor assignment with Armed Forces Professional Entertainment Office, we see opportunities with the military expanding," said Doug Butcher, ETP's CEO and founder. "This builds upon our core business while we create growth in the civilian entertainment markets."

AFNAF covers all branches of the military for purchases, goods and services. The Non-Appropriated Fund exceeds approximately $5 billion a year in revenues.

Through its four subsidiaries, Entertainment Technologies and Programs, Inc., provides a broad range of entertainment services including club development and management, sound and lighting equipment, arcade games and family entertainment centers, design and construction of entertainment facilities, and production of live concert acts. Originally addressing the military market exclusively, ETP is expanding into the civilian market where its experience and knowledge provide a strong competitive edge.
