Hi John, how are you gauging the mkt? I wish I were smart enough to do that! <g> Really, I'm just trying to gauge myself..... I think. <g> Regardless of my timing, I am a big scaredy-cat when it comes to a losing position -or sometimes an even modestly profitable one. I would rather take 3 small losses before catching the move I want... than hold through adversity. I can always get back in.... just maybe at a slightly less favorable price. Consequently, I keep a pretty tight stop the first week or so of a trade. As the position moves in my favor.... so does a trailing stop. This strategy can be a double-edged sword, but I am comfortable with it. FWIW, I raised my stop loss a few cents.... and consequently sold a good portion of my bean position today for a very modest profit. I kept a few, and have plans to buy back the rest, soon. I am still very bullish long term.... just letting myself get caught up in the zigs and zags, which I probably shouldn't. <gg> Oh well, such is life... talk to you later, take care Regards, Frank
