From the I Watch site provided to us by Slugger comes this definition. Sure you saw it.

"Interest Messages: These messages serve as a way for broker/dealers to send real-time indications of interest
to buy or sell securities. Interest messages are not binding, but merely offer an indication of which
broker/dealers are actively seeking to trade a stock. Generally, the messages serve as means for the broker/dealers
to say to institutional investors, "Give me a call and we'll talk about a trade."

I also look at the momentum area on I Watch.

Apparently there is some institutional interest in 100,000 shares of XOMA. This appeared twice. Does that mean 200,000 or just a repeat of the messages of interest? Don't know. When the triangles appear then the messages apparently are more serious as to buy or sell interest.

Admit to all that I did not know this type of information was available and am delighted with Sluggers find.

Bluegreen, I like to run other stocks thru something like the I Watch to see if I can understand it better or have more confidence in what it says. Ran CNTO thru and the results, to me, seem consistent with the merger rumors. Buy and sell messages, and also SUPER MESSAGES. No triangles as yet.

"Super Messages: "Supers" offer a more explicit medium for broker/dealers to advertise their interest in
trading a stock. In a Super message, broker/dealers specify the exact price and size of stock they want to trade, as
well as whether they are interested in buying or selling the security.

Because Supers require a minimum volume of 25,000 shares, they offer a unique opportunity to gauge the
interest of institutional investors. Due to the specific nature of these messages and the fast pace of changes in
the marketplace, Supers have a short shelf-life and offer only a small glimpse of the total market for a security."

Disclosure. Have no shares of CNTO at present. Expect indirect benefit to CORR of any merger of CNTO. Do own some CORR.

If anyone finds a stock that shows triangles on I Watch please post it.

Interesting site, note the attention give to license agreements and partnering.

sifi.it

Just a site, no implication that XOMA or SIFI have any interest in doing anything together.
