guess what. IDT already has been providing switched voice service in Germany--offering a full range of telecom services to both wholesalers and retailers. so, i think that this AOL/Bertelmanns free calls/ISP access package will likely benefit IDT in some way also.

Hi Jim,
Good to see you over here. Do you have a position in IDTC?
I have been accumulating this stock for the last two months and can't figure out why it has stalled over the last two weeks. I posted the following here the other day, but did not really get any answers to the questions I posed. I would appreciate your interpretation of the recent events.
Best Regards,
Jules

All,
I pose the following hypothesis...

Suppose you are writing strategy for AOL. Your company (AOL) is thinking of buying, or taking a stake in, Net2Phone. However, you need more time to find out what your company will look like if AOL will, or will not, be buying Media 1, before you make your final decision. Wouldn't you ask IDTC to delay their plans pending AOL knowing exactly what will happen with themselves and Media 1? After all, it would have been only be a few weeks away. Wouldn't this scenario explain exactly what we have seen IDTC doing over the last 3 weeks, since the Softbank announcement?

1---Now suppose AOL withdraws its interest in Media 1, as it did today, what will AOL do now relative Net2Phone?
2---How will AOL's revamped plans effect IDTC's stock price????
3---Will AOL need Net2PHone more, or less, than it did three weeks ago ?
