because the only reason IBM would buy Cyrix would be to replace Intel chips with their own designs.

Michael, didn't happen before, when they had manufacturing rights. Fact is, Cyrix has nothing in the mid to high end where all corporate sales are, so they would have to continue buying INTC, like everyone else.

I agree though, that IBM will not be buying any piece of this garbage.
