HJ,

I'd probably lose money on the deal. I've had msft for maybe 6 years now. But what do they have to lose? Money I know, but they have it to lose. They can afford it, and they then have the leading net retail portal. They wanted to make money on each transaction; this is the way. They would have to let Bezos run and provide a hand.

Now T has the phone lines and 2/3 cable? Geez. Msft better do something. Aol can get hurt by this, too. Justice wouldn't stop an amzn/msft merger. I would think that msft and amzn will at least partner here on some things, but that will prop up amzn's price, which if you then buy them is dumb. Forget partnering, just buy them.

Msft has so much money do you think Kleiner will turn their noses to that? They are sluts, too.<G>

Hey, it'll never hapen but it is fun to imagine what things would make for a more interesting future.
