Don't know how much hype your seeing. T will save between $3.0 and $3.5 billion on the acquisitition of UMG with the purchase of approximately of 750K subscribers by CMCSA @ about $4,500 per subscriber. T will also be providing telephony to all CMCSA subscribers. On top of this, T is now being rumored??? to be receiving an investment of $5 billion (in stock) from MSFT in exchange for T's obligation to employ MSFT's set box OS. There is a lot different picture today than yesterday on the outlook on T's earnings & growth in earnings going forward. Hence the pop in market cap. I don't know how much gap-filling your going to see. JMO.
