Yes JL used to work for SFA. I would love to hear that conference
call. PicoJava is non-existant at the moment and I believe we are
the only java native processor in existence. Luckily we also have
the ability to process C, C++, and FORTH with equal efficiency which
might help with transitioning to java from them. Interesting
find.....

Best book to understand how MMs operate.

SFA uses microII SPARC as the CPU for the boxes. PSC1000A is a JavaMicroprocessor, the info in the CC, suggested that they will be the developers choice platform for Java based apps. I dont think they suggested that they will be moving away from Sun's microIISPARC. Also, picoJava a competitor of PSC1000A design from Sun has been scrapped last yr. PSC1000A chips are being tested/used in some interface cards for Digital Video Broadcasting and other PCI and SBus interfaces from Genroco. Genroco is working with SFA, but I am not sure if their boards are in the SFA Boxes.
