arthur and alohal, i didn't mean to do it...i am just watching right now...traded the first 1/2 hour or so...then the bond looked too high to the herd and i got out so i wouldn't be stampeded.

my advice, for what it's worth, is to watch this for a while before jumping in...unless you have little or no dell...or lots of cash burning a hole...it's certainly a good price, but it may get better. :)

my 4 yr old just came into my office and handed me a bowl of change and said, "here, this is for the stock mkt...would you please make me more?"...so i guess now i have a little extra to buy dell when the mkt strengthens a bit. and don't worry, i know it will :)

cheers, GR

~ OT ~ Arthur: AOL is down 6 of the last 7 days....just slipped below its 50 day moving ave. Selling my last block of AOL at $161 wasn't a bad idea <GG>!! Yet, I put the proceeds into some other high potential internut stocks -- they're all on sale today. I just added Net Perceptions (NETP) to my farm team. IMHO, its a steal at around $20/share....in a few weeks the brokerage firms will be able to comment on this new public company. They could get good coverage from all of their backers -- Roberston Stephens, H & Q, and Piper Jaffrey. This company makes the recommendation engine software for the leading e-commerce websites. NETP is definately one to watch.

I'm holding all my DELL, CMGI and AWRE shares for the long run.

Best Regards,

Scott
