Re : Block Trades (i.e. >4000) I've gone back through time and sales for this morning and it's interesting. 1. There have been 17 trades of more than 5000 shares(between 5-26K) that went at 11 1/2 - mostly at the ask as far as I could determine - totaling 189,000 shares! 2. In addition to that, there was one trade of 49,300 at 11 5/8. 3. Even though the stock hit a low of 11 3/16 today, the lowest "block" (>4000) trade today has been at 11 7/16. In fact, these "low" block trades, totaling 40,000 shares in seven blocks,have all been at 11 7/16. I think all of these were at bid or in between. One other 4000 shares at 11 7/16 was at ask. CONCLUSION: On a bad market day the big boys are buying.
